To say this last year has been a bit chaotic would be an understatement and plans we made at the start of the year, always seemed to get pushed aside, so there have been less videos of Fifi than we had imagined we would be posting.
So better late than never, I thought I would end the year with a little video of a recent drive around Lacoste and Bonnieux, under the bright November sun. Honestly, after a morning walking or cycling, there is nothing nicer than rolling back Fifi’s roof and taking a slow drive around the back roads of the valley, bathed in a beautiful light by the low, late autumn sun, our faces glowing with the chilly wind as we go.
This little drive was on a particularly glorious afternoon and took us past Pont Julien, before heading up to Lacoste and then through the cherry orchards to Bonnieux, before we pootled back down our favourite stretch of road, through the vineyards, back towards Apt.

It is such a lovely route, whether on the bikes or in Fifi, and the autumn colours were just starting to glow, especially in the vineyards as we made our way back down from Bonnieux, past The Chateau De Mille https://vauclusedreamer.com/2022/09/29/history-and-wine-at-the-chateau-de-mille/.
We all need a bit of a pick-me-up at this darkest time of year, when on some days it hardly feels as if it really gets light, before it begins to get dark again…. So I hope you enjoy this little potter in Fifi, with the sights and beauty of the Luberon in every direction and a glimpse or two of the sun too
